Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation with Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, or construction science, plus eight (8) years of experience in a field related to engineering, architecture, or construction management, four (4) of which were directly responsible for and in charge of managing architectural and engineering design or construction projects
OR
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in any field, plus ten (10) years of experience in a field related to engineering, architecture, or construction management, six (6) of which were directly responsible for and in charge of managing architectural and engineering design or construction projects.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
Must possess one of the following licenses or certifications or be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire date:
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas
Licensed Registered Architect (RA) in the state of Texas
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Preferred Qualifications:
Architectural project work experience in all phases from preliminary planning to construction phase.
Experience managing and delivering municipal architectural capital improvement projects in all project phases.
Experience in developing and managing projects utilizing DB (Design Build) and CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk).
Experience delivering design and construction projects incorporating LEED and/or other sustainability goals/measures.
Experience managing large diverse project teams, communicating with large stakeholder groups, issue resolution, delivering presentations.
The ability to travel to more than one work location.
Job Description: Position Overview:
This position will support the Capital Delivery Services Department mission by managing City-wide Capital Improvement Projects. The candidate in this position will perform advanced level project management duties for Capital Improvement Projects.
Salary Range: $45.22 - $58.78

General Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Telework: Up to 60% teleworking available
