The Environmental & Water Resources Institute
The Austin Chapter of EWRI invites professionals of all specialties who work on issues pertaining to environmental or water resources to join our community. The objective of the Chapter is the advancement of the science and profession of engineering in a manner consistent with the purpose of the American Society of Civil Engineers by bringing local workshops and training to the area members.

2026 EWRI Scholarship Information
The EWRI Austin Chapter is proud to announce five scholarships (up to $2,000) for current high school seniors and undergraduate students who plan to study in a related water resources or environmental field beginning in Fall 2026.

EWRI Austin Chapter 20th Annual Continuing Education Workshop 2025
The EWRI Austin Chapter hosted its 20th Annual Continuing Education Workshop on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the City of Austin Permitting and Development Center (PDC).
The theme for this year’s workshop was “Celebrating 20 Years: Harnessing History to Shape Tomorrow.” The event brought together professionals from across the water resources community to reflect on past achievements while exploring forward-looking ideas and innovations shaping the future of the industry.
