Continuing Education Workshop - Abstract Poster Competition:

Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI) Austin Chapter would like to invite abstracts for Poster Presentation during its annual workshop to be held on Wednesday June 5th, 2019 in Austin, Texas. Theme for this year’s workshop is “Water: Our Common Denominator toward a Resilient Future”. This is a great opportunity to showcase your work, project and/or research to the Austin EWRI community. Recommended topics for the poster include (but not limited to) resiliency, planning/maintenance, water resources, flood management, and water quality. In addition to general poster presentation, a Student Poster Competition will be held. Students in the Austin EWRI Chapter region are encouraged to submit an abstract for water or environment related topic in addition to the above list (Students and faculty may co-author a submission as long as a student is the lead author). Lead student authors for the top three posters will receive complimentary registration to the annual workshop.

Please submit an abstract with poster title, author name & title, two keywords (to describe poster topic) and executive summary (350 words or less) to sunit.deo@hdrinc.com before April 22, 2019 in either MSWord or PDF format. EWRI will review and select abstracts and inform authors by May 5th.
