The Water Trotter Urban Challenge is a 3-mile fun and challenging urban trekking adventure. Teams will navigate through the diverse urban ecosystem of Austin’s Waller Creek Corridor, exploring local neighborhoods, the Capitol and the UT Austin campus. Water Trotter is designed to emphasize the importance of clean water, especially in developing countries.

Please create or join a two-person team as part of registration. We will help you find a partner on the day of the event if needed. Everyone is welcome: students, professionals, families, and beyond!

Sponsorship and ticket sales from this event help the EWB-USA Greater Austin chapter raise resources to construct vital water infrastructure programs in both Peru & Guatemala. EWB-USA supports community-driven development programs worldwide by collaborating with local partners to design and implement sustainable engineering projects, while creating transformative experiences and responsible leaders.
