Virginia Essary started her investigative career with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (Board) in September of 2012 – starting as an Investigator I and working her way up to Investigator IV in the Compliance & Enforcement Department. Prior to joining the Board, Virginia worked with the Texas Department of Public Safety in Austin, Texas. She is a native of Austin, Texas, and holds a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Texas State University.
