MATHCOUNTS® is fast approaching. This year marks the 36th anniversary of the national competition supporting STEM education at the middle school level.

 Date: February 2, 2019  8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Location: UT J.J. Pickle Research Center Commons Building #137 (10100 Burnet Road, Austin TX 78758)

 Please consider volunteering your time and talent to support the 125+ middle school students who will be participating in a series of fun and engaging mathematics contests. Volunteers are needed between 7:30 a.m. (proctors arrive before event registration) and 1:30 p.m. (a few volunteers will be need for clean-up). If you cannot commit to the full event, we welcome your support as there are many activities like staffing the registration table, delivering materials, or answering questions and providing directions that will not last the full time. Volunteers will be provided a MATHCOUNTS t-shirt along with free snacks and lunch.

This gathering of eager, bright middle school students is a joy to attend and you will find the time you spend volunteering at the event truly rewarding.
