TAME Capital Area Divisional Competition

  • University of Texas at Austin 2501 Speedway Austin, TX 78712 (map)

The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) is excited to kick off 2019 with hundreds of the area’s brightest 6-12th grade STEM students. We hope you can join us for a few hours on Saturday, January 19th on MLK Day weekend, in supporting and engaging students as they take competitive tests and work together on a dynamic engineering design challenge.

On Saturday, January 19th, 2019, approximately 200 local middle school and high school students from across the greater Austin area will participate in TAME's Capital Area Divisional STEM Competition.

Join the fun and connect with the next generation of scientists and engineers as they show off their skills in math and science and solve real-world engineering problems with teamwork and determination.

You help spark a love for STEM and inspire students to see themselves in a career that could change the world - and we'll provide lunch - sign up today!

The competition will be at 2501 Speedway in the Engineering Services Building, also known as the Engineering and Education Research Center (EER).

From greeters to judges, TAME is seeking volunteers in various roles between 7:30am and 4:00 pm. All the details and sign-up opportunities are through the link here.
