Job Description

The Project Manager position performs responsible, professional work coordinating various engineering and architectural projects, trains and serves as the team leader/supervisor of various projects. Serve as liaison with contractors, consultants, and utility department's providing support to Parks and Recreation Department CIP projects This management position is critical to meeting the annual CIP Spending Plan of the Parks and Recreation Department Division; ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Welfare requirements and coordinating projects with various COA departments and programs.

Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Certifications

-Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
-Professional Civil or Structural Engineer License
-LEED Accreditation
-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Experience

  • 5 years of experience managing capital improvement projects to include writing Scopes of Work, preparing contracts and dealing with permitting process.

  • Experience coordinating and managing efforts of multi-disciplinary project teams.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing complex design concepts through construction documents.

  • 3 years experience in preparing and presenting to Boards and Commissions.

  • Minimum 5 years experience with AutoCAD software.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in construction oversight/ supervision in large scale land development.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in submitting and processing site development, building and/or trade permits.

Salary

$75,000 - $100,000
