Instructor for UT Austin's Capstone Course in Design of Transportation Systems

Job Description

Substitute professor for Spring 2018 capstone course in transportation design, to teach about the design of ground-based transportation systems (including costs and impacts, geometry & CAD, and real-life independent projects). The adjunct instructor will have access to past lecture notes, homeworks, and exams, as well as a teaching assistant for 5 hours or more per week. Lectures are twice a week, from 3:30 to 5 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays, starting January 16 (through first week of May). TA will be in charge of most lab sessions, on Friday afternoons (3:30 to approx 5 pm). Job Requirements

MS in civil engineering with at least 10 years of practice in the domain of transportation design and PE license or PhD.
