Job Description

Substitute professor for Spring 2018 capstone course in transportation design, to teach about the design of ground-based transportation systems (including costs and impacts, geometry & CAD, and real-life independent projects). The adjunct instructor will have access to past lecture notes, homeworks, and exams, as well as a teaching assistant for 5 hours or more per week. Lectures are twice a week, from 3:30 to 5 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays, starting January 16 (through first week of May). TA will be in charge of most lab sessions, on Friday afternoons (3:30 to approx 5 pm). A syllabus for the course can be found at

Job Requirements

MS in civil engineering with at least 10 years of practice in the domain of transportation design and PE license or PhD.
