Reports to: Manager of Operational Efficiency
Analyze, from a technical point of view, the current operational execution of road maintenance contracts in the US, in order to identify, plan, propose, and support, the implementation of timely operational improvement actions aimed at increasing the profitability of the contracts.
•Analyze in detail, from a technical perspective, the current operation of the road maintenance contracts of BRS America.
•Identify, plan, propose and support if necessary, the implementation of timely operational improvement actions aimed at obtaining a quality, efficient and profitable service, in accordance with the Executive Committee of the BRS Infrastructure division.
•Understand and handle the contractual documents of the different road contracts, as well as the regulations of application in each of the geographies where BRS America operates.
•Communicate the improvement plan to be implemented by the contract management personnel, trying to achieve their best involvement from their different roles, always in coordination with the Executive Team of the BRS Infrastructure division.
•Perform the proper follow-up of the implemented actions
•Assist the Manager of Operational Efficiency, if necessary, in the contact, negotiation and improvement of existing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring that the purchase is carried out in an appropriate and efficient manner.
•Provide relevant information regarding the execution, evolution, development and future of the business, monitoring its progress in accordance with established objectives.
Education: Engineering (Civil or similar)
•Job Specific Skills: High level excel skills, pivot tables, index match, V-lookups, infrastructure operational knowledge and contracts; strong analytical skills
Languages: Fluent in English, Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Experience: 3 years’ experience in road maintenance contacts, commercial or quality
Other Skills: Analysis and decision making, communication and influence, customer focus, flexibility and adaptability.
