UT Mentoring Program
This year YMF will be
reaching out to UT students and serving as
mentors to senior level engineering students
offering direction and
guidance in their area of expertise on three
selected City of Austin projects. The goal
of this experience is to
provide students a practical working
sense of the intricacies on working on a
city project from start to finish, an
opportunity that is not always given to
civil engineering students. It also
provides an opportunity for our profession
to give back to our community. The projects
are as follows: Barton Creek Bridge Project,
Upper Boggy Creek Trail Project, Northcross
Connection Project. For more information
about the mentoring program and
opportunities for volunteering contact Ty
Womble, E.I.T., LEED AP at
tWomble@Halff.com.
